My name is Liz Saelzler, and I am an artist specializing in abstract nudes. I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have had one passion for many years and that was to be an artist. I never believed I would accomplish this task because of my lack of belief in myself, and my abilities as an artist. I filled this need to create by experimenting with as many different mediums as I could. All the while, trying to find one medium that I felt I could develop into a talent I would be proud of. Thus far I have been able to reach that with the art I am presenting now in art fairs throughout the United States. For me, it is the best of both worlds. I am able to continue to experiment with abstract nudes in different mediums, and to use the human body as a means to express my art in a sensitive and emotional way that gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Through the encouragement of my friends who are professional artists I have been able to muddle my way through the complicated task of preparing myself to seek my dream. It has been a great tool to force me to make the decisions that have long been avoided. I refuse to allow fear to keep me from my intentions. There is a saying I have come to live by, and that is to "Be true to one's self." I wish nothing more than to be able to present myself as an artist with a true desire to create and to be able to share the excitement I receive from that with others.
